Windows 7 users should think long and hard about their continued use of the 10 year old operating system.

Come January 14, 2020 Microsoft is pulling the plug on support for the life span of the beloved.

No more updates, features, patches or security protection!

This will no doubt leave windows 7 users extremely vulnerable to serious virus threats from around the world.

That’s why everyone who still uses Windows 7 should get prepared for the windows 7 end of life support unplug.

Very Limited Security Protection.

Businesses that are not ready to depart from windows 7 can purchase some form of extended protection.

The average user may even receive occasional security updates over time.

However, I wouldn’t depend on it.

My advice is to upgrade, or install a fresh copy of Windows 10 as soon as possible.

Avoid the risk of getting hammered and move forward.

Get With The New Programs.

As an early adopter of Windows 10 who hasn’t used windows 7 since windows 8 came out, I insist.

It’s well worth the jump for more reasons besides security holes.

Windows 10 offers new and improved technological advances in everything you can think of.

The same way windows 7 vastly improved over it’s predecessors windows vista and windows XP.

No windows vista for me, but unfortunately I had the pleasure of supporting all of these operating systems well past their prime.

Windows 10 Is a Winner.

There is no comparison, anyone with the idea that Windows 7 is better than Windows 10 after all these years is delusional.

People had the same type of assumptions when forced to switch from windows XP to Windows 7.

And business’s who are too cash strapped to spend money to upgrade, or get new computers with windows 10 licenses are managing poorly.

Windows 7 (EOL) Could Leave You (SOL)

Needless to say I am a windows 10 supporter.

I personally like the direction Microsoft has taken in improving customer satisfaction in regards to this product.

Software is, and always will be hacked.

They’ll always be bugs to fix and vulnerabilities to patch.

So once windows 7 stops receiving this type of attention it could easily turn your end of life (EOL) into an (SOL).

Can you or your company afford a hacking or data compromisation?

If not then it’s time to prepare for the coming windows 7 end of life support unplug.

In conclusion, at the time of this article google search and wikipedia reveals that; “Windows 7 was on 38 percent (36 percent in the UK, 46 percent globally). “. unquote.

If this report is even close to being true then I imagine that there are quite a bit of computers that will instantly become more vulnerable to attacks once the support ends.

Don’t get caught scrambling to switch after the facts if you are one of those people or businesses.
